"The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless." Jean Jacques Rousseau

I have always loved to draw and paint; the world of art has always fascinated me. When I travel art galleries are at the top of my list of "things to do" as the history of art, over 30,000 years strong, has deep interest for me. During my business career I used my sketching skills to help clients visualize designs of their interiors. In this new stage of my life and in a different part of Canada, I am inspired to continue learning, growing in skills and creating images of of the natural environment and the man-made environment - including developing my "flights of imagination". I look forward to sharing them with you!

  • Susie Brown

    Susie Brown

Born and raised in Kenora, Northwestern Ontario, my Nature Photography reflects my connection to the Boreal Forest and surrounding waters.  Awarded an Ontario Arts Council Grant in 2010 I was able to explore the distillation of my two loves, photography and making paper from gathered materials from the forest, to print my photos on my handmade papers.  Photos also include my Shoreline Spirits Series (reflected shorelines turned vertically to reveal animals and beings), and my Nature Mandalas, photos taken through a teleidescope.
