ArtsFest 2024 – July 20 and 21, The Muse grounds, Kenora

Mark Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21 on your calendar for a full day of arts exploration and fun on the grounds of The Muse – Lake of the Woods Museum and Douglas Family Art Centre! See below for more details on Kenora’s biggest and best celebration of our rich and diverse arts community.

The date for ArtsFest is coming up fast and we would love to have the energy of the community alongside us as we celebrate the arts in downtown Kenora. We need volunteers for programming, volunteer coordination, site setup/takedown, daytime security/audience coordination, and on-site fundraising. We are also looking for people to lead and run some kid-friendly art in the KidZone, which is a highlight of this family-friendly festival. Many hands makes light work and all support is greatly appreciated and needed!!

We’d love your help! Fill out the volunteer form here.

It’s a fun gig and an opportunity to be part of bringing a great family and tourist-friendly event in downtown Kenora during our beautiful summer.

We are hoping to have one or two raffle baskets to help raise funds during the festival. If you have a small piece or art, art supplies or accessories you’d be willing to donate, we would be very grateful! Email lowaccoordinator@gmail.com!

LOWAC will be outside the pavilion with a demonstration of pottery throwing by the extraordinary Keifer Floreal. Keifer will also have items for sale and LOWAC will have more details about ArtsFest!

Fun night at Bob’s, good day at July 1 Market

Thanks to our dedicated volunteer crew who put together a fun-raiser night at Bob’s Burgers on June 28 and a splashing good time coordinating the dunk tank at the July 1 festivities on the Harbourfront. Both events helped raise a few funds and awareness for ArtsFest!

Big thanks to our host Bob at Bob’s Burgers and our dunkees – Kaddie Vaughan, Barb Manson, Kelsie Van Belleghem and Eric Melillo!
