Artist Profiles and Venues

A primary goal of  LOWAC is to promote the individuals and groups that make up our rich arts community.

Your listing will help potential clients get in touch with you and promote networking opportunities within the arts community. For venues, it will assist in informing the public of how your space can be used and/or rented. Keep us updated of any exhibitions or projects by sending us an email or posting to LOWAC’s Facebook or Twitter pages. We’ll do our best to share this with our followers and members!

In the migration of our website to a new platform some of the profiles were lost. We are in the process of contacting artists who may wish to restore their profiles and/or renew their membership for this opportunity. If you want to know your status, send an email to lowacdirectors@gmail.com.

Technical Support

Not listed or need an update?

You need to be a LOWAC member so please start or renew your membership. Then, submit your artist profile.

A few tips before your start your profile:

  • You’ll need a valid email address, brief bio about you or your group and an artistic statement/description.
-The Artist or Group bio should include a statement about you or your work and should be written in 3rd person (Jesse loves to work in acrylics rather than I like to work in acrylics). It should give readers an idea about who you are, what inspires you and the kind of art you create.
-The Artistic Statement/Description should include a description of the artwork you are featuring or it can be a general statement about your work. This may be the story behind what inspired you, why you were compelled to create it, some of the techniques you’ve used, etc.
  • You’ll have the option to upload up to 10 MB of work samples and a description if available.
  • You can also include your contact information (telephone, email, website) and, if you wish, social media links (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)

Note that LOWAC cannot guarantee the security of any work that is submitted. If you are able, watermark or put a signature on any original artworks.
