Ctlynch111@gmail.com 807-543-6795The Paterson Medical Clinic and Lake of the Woods Art Collective are in agreement to have LOWAC artists display their art work in the clinic building. Carolyne Lynch of LOWAC is the contact/LOWAC representative for this process.
1. Art will be replaced usually in August of each year at the Paterson Medical Clinic. Carolyne Lynch is the coordinator of this activity.
2. All artwork that is to be displayed must be ready and able to be hung on a wall (so be cognizant of the weight of your artwork).
3. All artwork is to be provided with the artists name, contact information, name of piece and price of piece. LOWAC will then produce these cards for display with the work.
4. Art will be submitted to the LOWAC representative who will oversee the placement of the art in the building.
5. Display of each piece of art will be for a period of 1 year, at which time art will be reassessed by both the LOWAC representative and the artist and either rotated or replaced with a new piece of art. The art will be hung by the LOWAC representative/volunteers.
6. If artwork is sold – The Artist will be contacted by the buyer and/or LOWAC representative regarding the sale of the artwork. The Artist will make arrangements with the buyer regarding payment of their artwork. The Artist will contact carolyne Lynch (email or text information above) regarding the sale and removal of the art piece. The artist will have the option of replacing the piece sold for the remainder of the one year period.
7. A list of artists with contact information will be maintained by LOWAC. If a prospective buyer is interested in purchasing art they will be directed to the artist and LOWAC. All negotiations will be between that buyer and the artist.
8. The Paterson Medical Clinic will not accept responsibility for loss of damage to the art. It should be noted that the clinic is a secure building with staff present at all times when the building is available to the public.
9. The Paterson medical Clinic and the LOWAC volunteer representative have the final decision over all aspects of this process.
