Here & Now Theatre For Young Audiences

Here & Now are a collective of creators who are committed in devising comedic Theatre For Young Audiences. Here & Now’s goal is to take theatre to communities underserved by performing arts and provide accessible free outdoor shows.

Here & Now see a need for entertainment in Canadian small towns. We want to engage young people through stories set in their own communities and bring people together through laughter and shared experience. Here & Now are an inclusive collective and believe Theatre is for everyone and everybody.

Here & Now was created over zoom in 2021. Working together over zoom and facetime weekly, we started envisioning creative adventures of how to bring magic back to children and audiences in a memorable way. We want our live theatre shows to break the fourth wall and make it a playful and joyful experience. The audience is as much a part of the show as we are. Through clown, movement, puppetry, and improv, we hope to create interactive works for all families.
